ABOUT TOXSCAN, INC.
ToxScan, Inc., an affiliate of Kinnetic Laboratories, Inc., is a fully accredited environmental testing laboratory that provides high quality bioassay analyses of marine and fresh waters, sediments and tissues. Established in 1977, ToxScan currently operates two laboratory facilities in Santa Cruz County, under State of California Department of Health ELAP Certificate No. 1515. Our laboratory is uniquely experienced in toxicity evaluations of ambient and storm waters, having pioneered non-point source TIE methodology in the central California region.
ToxScan's Bioassay Division has performed a major portion of dredged material evaluations in California, including the first dredged sediment analysis completed in the state in 1977. We have performed bioassay and bioaccumulation evaluations for hundreds of dredge projects in West Coast ports and harbors, including San Diego, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Moss Landing, San Francisco Bay, Humboldt Bay and Crescent City.
